Al Mann is one of the most important creators in the realm of mentalism and mental magic. Both a performer, and a prolific author, he created and marketed tested effects through strictly limited manuscripts such as this one. This is far and away my favorite Al Mann publication. He did the most wonderful things with envelopes, and this manuscript is filled with that material. Far and away the most diabolical of these gimmicked envelopes is the Proteus envelope. This is a utility that allows the performer to produce any message or prediction inside a sealed envelope. There are many worthwhile effects, techniques, and gimmicked envelopes contained within, with each piece of material as good as the last.
Additionally there appears to be a signature though I can't tell if it is a stamp, or automatically generated signature. There is, however, and embossed stamp that is only in one other of my manuscripts. The embossing can be seen in the lower right corner of photo 2 above and reads "AL MANN EXCLUSIVES". Well written and clearly explained, all of the material is top drawer. Once again and I cannot stress enough, these manuscripts are very scarce as they were self-published, and on a strictly limited basis.
